Go Knights!

Today we met Robin and her family at UCF for Britany's freshman tour of my alma mater.

She still isn't sure of her final choice, but we enjoyed the tour today and I really enjoyed seeing how much the school has grown in the 14 (yes 14!) years since I graduated. Oh how the years go by!

A slight fever from all his molars coming in at the same time isn't stopping this kid. It was sidewalk chalk play all afternoon today :)

Visit with the Mahers

We had a great day today visiting with Aimee and her family. Every time I leave Aimee's house I am: 1) ready to re-decorate my own house 2) sad because I remember how much I miss living close to her and her family. Something about Aimee's creativity with all her scrapbooking and love for photos like I have, makes we want to do all the crafty projects she does.

Cooper of course was hamming it up the whole day, he totally fell in love with Ashliegh (who doesn't!?) and is in a deep sleep of a nap now as I type.

It's great cool weather outside and just an all around great day.

Wordless Wednesday

Typical Tuesday

We are getting into a nice routine here at home. Not officially working feels so good. We had another great swim lesson today, Cooper swam underwater toward the teacher, I was so proud of him. Pop Pop even came to watch.

Cooper also helps me clean...yes...with this tongue on the sliders.....that can't be a good habit but it makes me laugh :)

We have been having "art" time everyday and Cooper sometimes manages not the eat the crayons...oh and I so LOVE nap time...today I gave myself a facial and watched HGTV while he napped...so great!

I have been working with Rob with the new software sales company so Cooper is off to Grammie's tomorrow. I have been working every other day and when I feel like it and it just feels so good :)

Bath Time

After the tub bubbles are drained, it's time to put on the shower and rinse off....you can see, Cooper loves it :)

Confessions

Confession #1:

I got laid off on Monday. I got the "it's not you it's us" speech as I was told "adios" while 40 others from my company got the same news. The company blames the ecomony, I blame the jerk they hired to manage us last year. I saw this coming for months and already have another job in the wings...praise God. I still feel mad though and they can kiss my......(photo above).

Confession #2:

Since Monday though, I have LOVED my time with Cooper (going to swimming lessons, getting his haircut, napping and catching up on tv while he naps)...it ROCKS and I secretly am thrilled to have the stress of that job off my back.

Confession #3:

We are letting Cooper have more "naked time" around the house...he loves it.

Confession #4:

Naked time is restricted to Cooper only....Rob thinks our neighbors may not want to pop over unannounced anymore if we open it up to the whole family...I think he's right :)

Rob's 40th bday weekend

We had a great weekend with friends and family in Orlando. Thanks to the Schattes and the Cristianos for meeting us...also...Auntie Robin and Christopher made the treck to Orlando while sick and we so love spending time with them. We thank you and love you all xoxoxo

Happy 40th Bday Rob!

Rob's big 4 0 is tomorrow and we are going to Orlando for Disney and Sea World with family and friends. Since we'll be gone and busy both tomorrow and Sunday I thought I'd blog today.

First swim lesson

Mr. Personality had his first official swim lesson today at the gym. He was too busy waving at the other kids to really pay attention but he did great. Grammie will be his swim buddy since Mommy and Daddy are working every Tues/Thur at 9:30am. Of course today I was there with my camera to capture all the first time fun!

Superbowl Sunday

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We relaxed, played at the beach, shopped and had a nice family weekend :) We just wrapped up a Superbowl party here at the house...Cooper didn't care about the teams, he was too busy giving out hugs, playing and showing off his Patriots outfit.
