Dino-mite! and other news not so great

Target clearance is the best! This $12.00 is the best we have spent in a while...Cooper is totally entertained for the weekend thanks to the "ROAR" in our family room :)

On a totally opposite has been a tiring week. Pop is now with hospice at the hospital and my Uncle is here from Texas. Thank God for modern medicine as I am not having any anxiety in the hospital as I had before now that I have been taking some meds. With my dad and Hope's passing in the last 2 years, hospitals and the death process is not something I have been handling well. This time around, with Pop at 91 years old with his heart failing, I feel more prepared. Death is never an easy thing to handle but watching someone in ICU knowing they have had a full healthy long life sure is easier then the other things I have been through recently. I said....God bless modern medicine and anti-anxiety drugs. I am not in full blown panic just hearing the beeps and noises like I was a few months least that is a positive thing.

Keep Pop and our family in your prayers.

Father's Day, Tyler's Graduation and ICU....OH MY!

Today was not the day I had planned.
We started off our Father's Day at ICU because Pop was taken by ambulance at 4:00am for what we thought was a heart attack. He is in ICU with water on the lung, maybe pnemonia and he was having trouble breathing (hence his thought of a heart attack). He is to stay there a day or two to get the fluid out and then we shall see.
Rob and I then went out to breakfast to try to celebrate Father's Day and relax.... but our waiter was arrested at the resturant. I knew sometime was up when he didn't have any more sweet tea! URGH
We did end up home in the pool of's 98 degrees here so our pool is getting to be that lukewarm bath temp so we didn't stay out too long.
Congratulations to Tyler who graduates High School today!
Here is a picture from his graduation party the other weekend....I didn't even recognize Jaran on the right...remember when all those kids where in our wedding just 4 short years ago??? Time flys!
Congrats Ty Ty....we love you xoxoxo

Air Force send off

We enjoyed a lovely evening meeting Robin, Brit and Christopher half way between our homes at the Cheesecake Factory so we could say goodbye to Britany before she leaves for the Air Force. We had a nice evening of good food and good laughs.

We are so excited for her and so happy we got to see her one last time before she heads off to Colorado Springs. I know it meant the world to Rob to see her enter the Air Force....he couldn't be more proud.

And here's a pic of Cooper and Christopher...just because they are so darn cute and they were so good tonight!

Beach Weekend

Wow this weekend went by fast! Cooper and I spent both Saturday and Sunday at the beach :)

Saturday we drove up to New Smyrna Beach to meet Aimee and Lynn and their kids for a day of fun and sun. Cooper had a great time and was asleep before I hit 95 to get home.

Sunday, Rob, my mom and I took Cooper to Cape Canaveral to our usual area and played in the water and sand. The ocean was calm and you could swim out in the water so Cooper and I spent most of the weekend bobbing up and down in the soft waves.

I love this time of year!

Britany's Graduation

Tomorrow our niece Britany will graduate from high school and we are so proud of her. She was accepted to the Air Force Academy on a full scholarship due to her amazing gymnastic talent and will enter boot camp at the end of June.

We are sorry we can't be there but we are so proud!

Weekend Water Wackiness

This weekend we enjoyed Sophia's 3rd bday pool party and having Lisa and her family over for a BBQ at our house today. We got rained out today but did get some time in the pool before we watched movies and relaxed. I love the summer!

First Words

Cooper has been a chatter box lately. Wonder where he gets that from?! He is always telling us he wants his "ba ba" and wants to go in the "pool" as he moves his arms in sign language for the pool. He is finally feeling better after a weekend of fever....some new teeth have popped up so I think it was the teeth that caused the fever.

Nothing else exciting around here...we have just been working and enjoying the long evenings in the pool :)
