Full- A Thanksgiving 2010 and Wedding ReCap

For the last six days, I have been FULL. And of all the things you love to be full of.

FULL of LOVE

FULL of Family

Full of FUN
Full of Food.

My cousin Katie got married on the Friday after Thanksgiving in McKinney Texas.  The Grand Hotel of McKinney was a great old hotel in the downtown area where the Christmas festival had just started.

There were reindeer.

 And pony rides

And shopping

We rode the merry go round, a train and also hit the petting zoo!  We did it all :)

Katie and Erik's wedding was beautiful.

She took pictures outside on the merry go round and
I can't wait to see how her photographer shot it!  So fun!

Cooper did walk down the isle as the ring bearer....
with me and with out the flower girl ...she was 2 and was NOT havin' it poor thing.
(This picture was not the isle but right before he walked down...I know Mere is going to ask detailed questions...NO, Mr GQ here is just posing!)

Erik's best man gave the sweetest speech and so did Katie's sister...
it was really a very nice event!

There were AMAZING cupcakes as the cake (the smore's cupcakes ROCKED)
Cooper held all the ladies attention as he danced (his side kick and wing man Grant had just gone off to bed at the time of this photo).
AND to top it all off there was a candy bar!  You can't go wrong with M&Ms.

So yes...I am full! I feel like the well that was running dry has been replenished and I am ready to keep tapping it off throughout the holiday season and into 2011.

Preparing to "Give Thanks"

We flew...
Cooper played.
We visited....
We prepared...
We cooked...
Cooper played...
and played...
and played...
and every now and then....he visits with us too.

We are getting ready for tomorrow, a big Pre-Wedding Thanksgiving dinner
and we KNOW we have a lot to be thankful for today, tomorrow and every day.

Cooper's Point of View

For Cooper's birthday I bought him the Vtech Kidizoom Camera.

I hadn't thought much of it until today he was taking my picture over and over again....I have to say I was surprised at what I found on there when I downloaded!
A lot peoples mid sections and knees, and the floor and rugs...
and a TON of blurry sky shots...but some good pics....they are below.
His portraits are pretty good I think :)

Please note for the record, most pictures of me I either had my camera on me or was craning my neck to get into the frame...I will always be a "leaner" in photos...won't I???

A little bit of this and little bit of that

This weekend mom and I made Phina's famous honey balls....MAN they are good!!
One of my favorite times of day with Cooper is when he first gets out of the bath and he gets in his dog towel and hides his face and says "Where is me?"

Cooper learned how to ride a scooter this weekend.

We recently visited Aunt Mary in the rehab facility she is living in..soon she will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility when there is availability.  Cooper loved pushing the wheelchair and singing to her.  She may not really have remembered much but she remembered how to sing "He's got the whole world, in His hands"
