Trick or Treat

What a crazy weekend!  Friday I volunteered a Cooper's school and helped with the Halloween parade and then the party in his classroom.  It was so much fun but man....a lot of crying kids!  I think most were afraid of each others costumes! Ha!  Preschoolers are a strange bunch!  Sheriff Woody was a rock star.....having a blast :)

Friday  night we went to Rochelle and Jake's neighborhood party (I like to be reminded how the other half live from time to time!) Where there were pony rides, games, food, hayrides...the whole 9 yards.  But Cooper got a fever ...so Sat we missed Brody's 5th birthday party and went to the drs. Yes, AGAIN.  It's still viral at this point but the cough could be dangerously close to settling in to pneumonia so we are keeping an eye on it.

So tonight, we had Grammie over for a Halloween dinner (we are trying to replicate my grandmothers home made macaroni and cheese) and we went around the block trick or treating.  It seems like we have been celebrating Halloween forever.  Preschool celebrates for a few weeks I guess.

this scary picture is for Grant and Grayson to see their crazy Grammie as a witch!

So Woody bids you all a rootin' tootin' bye bye. It's been fun but we are retiring our Woody costume to the dress up box....but the boots...they are a wardrobe staple!

"Trunk or Treat" and the post full of stuff

Well it's been a busy few days around here.

We celebrated Fall and Halloween early at Cooper's School and the annual "Trunk or Treat".  I love to look at back and past Halloweens and our time at the Grace Trunk or Treat event...check out 2008 when Cooper went to the patch,
and then when Grant came to visit. and then again in  2009.

We were lucky to have Robin and the kids come over,
Cooper and his "CoCo" have so much fun together!

We celebrated Taylor's 18th birthday and I took her senior pictures and did a ton to add to my portfolio.  You can check out more on my photography website.

We got a package in the mail from Auntie April and the family so Cooper did a video to thank them..check it out below.  You can tell I am sick in the video....I am STILL trying to get over this terrible sinus infection.  URGH

One last thing...don't forget you can still vote in the GAP contest!

VOTE once a day every day until the contest closes!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

What a beautiful night for the Pumpkin Patch! After being in the house literally all week, I got some relief from my severe sinus infection and made it out to the land of the living.

This picture below was because a young girl told Cooper she liked his boots. He knows tough guys don't take compliments! Ha

Miami Weekend

Whew!  What a busy busy weekend!  Cooper and I went down to Miami with the Wise boys for Jake to go with Steve and Dan to the FSU/Miami game and I got to visit with Janeen, Amy and Jennifer and 7 little boys.

As you can see Cooper had a BLAST with all the boys and loved every minute of the pool, crafts time and play time.
I have been blessed to be talking a lot to Jake's Aunt Nancy (Hope and I LOVED spending time with her and going to her condo in Juno Beach and shopping with her in Chicago!) and she now LOVES Cooper and was so thrilled to have us for lunch and to take the boys to the local turtle hospital.

As you can tell, Cooper is in full adoration of Nathan these days!

We wore the boys out and I can't brag enough about how amazing they were on the ride and really the whole trip.  We talked a lot about Hope and when the boys were babies...it's just good for the soul sometimes to "keep her alive" in stories and the boys just eat up anything about their mom.  Cooper proudly told them "Ms Hope , your mommy is in heaven with my Pop Pop and Nona and mommy daddy's, my grandpa."

It of course made me cry but it was too good of a weekend not to realize she was with us the whole way.
