Fall happenings

This fall I spent lots of time hiking the great outdoors.....

 Substituting at elementary school and spending time with the kiddos....

 And getting hired as Walsworth Yearbook's newest rep for the Colorado Springs market!  I

Colorado Springs Balloon Festival

One of our favorite Colorado traditions is to come every Labor Day weekend to the Balloon festival! There is talk of this being the last year it's here...if so Cooper and I will be sad to see it go :(

Happy Apple Sept 2014

We enjoyed our yearly tradition of Happy Apple farm with the Bogart family again this year! Cooper is also now a self proclaimed Bronco's fan.

We had a great birthday party at the bowling alley with all of Cooper's friends!

He also got to celebrate at school with all his friends...

Watch out world, this kid is 7!

.....and we are off!

We've been spending a lot of time these days practicing our bike riding skills. Take off troubles and a lot of "Mommy don't let go!" but all of a sudden....he was off!

And the next weekend we were biking together a long the roads less traveled! I love my new biking buddy!

First grade again :)

With Cooper entering the Colorado education system barely making the cut off for kindergarten, we knew it would catch up to us.  First grade was the perfect grade to get a "do again" year and Cooper couldn't be more thrilled! Same teacher but a different classroom and a great group of kids!
