Crazy Boy!

Cooper is on the go! The good news is that when he is tired, he can pass out anywhere. We have just re-discovered the swing again and if he is tired enough, he just passes out.

He is standing and "cruising" on any surface he can...soon he'll be walking away on this own. One more tooth came down today so you can kinda see the top left below is starting to come down. Looks like he has little round teeth like his mother :)
Spitting his food is a regular thing now...the afermath of a blueberry pancake breakfast below!

10 months old

It's crazy that I almost have a 1 year old!

Now he is standing up and "walking" while holding onto the couch. He has 5 sharp teeth and is getting more. He is eating pancakes, eggs, crackers and basically anything he can gum or bite with his little front teeth. He drops more than he eats but he's getting the hang of it. He is totally in love with his daddy's old football and loves to roll the balls on the floor and chase them. He is certainly all boy!

Weekend Fun

We had a great visit with Hope, Jake and the boys on Saturday when we had a nice downpour of rain. It was so nice to visit and see how great Hope is doing...we have a date as soon as she can handle it for us to go out for some big juicy hamburgers :) She is currently drinking milkshakes and getting liquids so she's well on the road to full recovery.

It was fun to see the boys with Cooper and he so loved the attention they gave him. He loved all the big boy toys they piled around him. And yes to answer your question, Hope's little Reese does turn into the Hulk (just like his daddy!) and did so just for Cooper!

After visiting Rob, Cooper and I went to dinner and you can see here, Cooper laid back and greeted everyone that walked by. "Make yourself at home" the waitress said...so he did. This was after he stuffed himself on food off of our plates including mashed potatoes, avacado and cucumbers.

Cooper has been reading nightly to Baxter to keep him company while Grammie is gone...you can see Baxter is Cooper's best pupil.

Some cousins from New Hampshire come to visit on Tues so we'll be busy this week. To respect their privacy we won't be posting photos on the blog but keep an eye open
in your mailboxes, I will email photos to the family.

New foods

Pastina was not a favorite tonight as much as my Italian family wants it to be. Cooper enjoyed it much better mixed in his veggies. You can see after spitting it out, all he did was laugh! At me wearing the food!

Since we are babysitting Baxter, the dog ate more today than Cooper did I think. Baxter missed out that I didn't bring him over to Nona and Pops with us tonight when Cooper smeared a cookie into their clean tan carpets. Good thing the maid had just left...perfect timing.

11:15pm
11:45pm

Fell asleep: Midnight

Reason- He NEEDED to crawl over and under every surface of the house. Once accomplished, he fell asleep until 9am!

Let's hope he goes back to 8pm bedtime...I've got TV to catch up on :)

Weekend ReCap

We had such a nice weekend relaxing with friends and family as you can see. We celebrated Nona and Pop Pop's 65th wedding anniversary on Friday the 4th with our extended family Meredith, Danny and Brody. Brody was so cute as you can see from the pictures and told Cooper "Excuse me, this is mine!" when Cooper was eying his popsicle. Too cute!

We spent a lot of time in the pool, grilling out and eating and enjoying the great weather.

Nana and Papa came for one night and brought us this lovely plant. I can see why Nana is drawn to the orange color of it, it looks beautiful in our backyard.

Cooper loved all the company as usual but it's back to our normal routine this week before more company hits our way next week.

On a side note, I spoke to Hope this weekend and she sounds amazingly well for someone who has just undergone such extensive tongue surgery. I could understand her perfectly and just pray as I know you all are for her continued recovery!
