Cooper vs a bug

URGHHH of all things Cooper got bit by a mosquito or a yellow jacket on his eyelid! What a day we've had! Good thing it wasn't a school day...Cooper LOVES school, no crying at drop off and even wanted to go to school on Sunday. We are working on getting the swelling down now. Once the initial swelling went down enough for him to see he was back at it jumping, playing and carrying on....nothing holds little boys down!

First day of school!

Cooper had a great first day at school!
There were some kids crying when I went to drop him off so I "dropped and dashed" as you recommended. Cooper's report from the teacher was that he cried on and off for about 1/2 hour but that he stopped. Pretty good I think for a kid that has never really stayed with anyone other then Grammie.
His report is: " I go to school! I cried, other kids cried, I got happy, I played, I got in sand, I go back to school". So..it was a success :) He hugged everyone goodbye so it seems he does love it like I had hoped! Let's see how Wednesday goes! Ha
Laurie.. I have NO IDEA how you do it everyday! That looked like controlled chaos to me this morning in that classroom!!! God Bless those teachers!

The night before....

The first day of school! I know it's just Pre-K 2/3... but still!
I am so nervous I have my (I mean Cooper's!) snack packed already.

Visit to O-town

Thanks Aimee, Ash and Nick for a great time :)

Random post

I am lovin' having some baby feet and chunky legs to love on!
I am lovin' the new Hobby Lobby near us and redecorating the entry way!
I am lovin' summer nights with good friends!
It is a joy to sit with lifelong friends and watch our little ones
form friendships over popsicles
while we sip sangria :)

Shark Bait...Hooh Ah Ah

Kimmy and I took the boys to Sea World the other night for just a few hours. The kids rocked out to the Shamu Rocks show, walked like the penguins in the penguin encounter and took over the play area.

But....

The LOVED the Shark Encounter most of all!

They were happy to report we were "like Nemo" and were "Shark bait....hooh ah ah"
