This weekend I got brave and decided to take down the "crib" and create the "toddler bed" on our convertable crib. Stupidly, I thought the wood beam I had was a rail but it wasn't so we had to get a bed rail. He napped fine today and I hope to have him continue sleeping all night like he did in the crib....I always wanted to hear the pitter patter of little feet in my house...just not at 2am so I hope he stays in this bed!
He of course loves it and has been in and out playing in it all day. I keep telling him it's the same bed just without the fourth "wall" of the crib... but to him..it's brand new :)

awwww....he's growin' up so fast! I see he believes in cuteness even when sleeping! Diggin the "esleepers"...he got that from me! :)
too cute! I hope he sleeps well. I remember when each of my kids graduated from cribs to big beds. It is all downhill from here. You start to feel older and they seem to get smarter everyday! Welcome to my world. Just wait until he is 16 and staying out late and not listening. Enjoy these years!!!
