School Days
I have discovered there is no greater joy then having your almost 3 year old tell you about God. To have him sing me "He's got the whole world in his hands" at night while we go to sleep and for him to tell me all about how he and his friends played "Alllllll day".
Today at school he ran into the classroom without saying goodbye to me at all....he didn't need me. That made me feel proud, but what made me feel prouder was how excited he was to see that Grammie and I were at the school's "Chapel Sing-a-long" today.
I remember the joy and safety I felt in school and I am so glad Cooper feels the same way! I am excited to see him grow and change almost daily now. There is so much I know he will learn by the end of this school year in May, it's incredible to watch his little mind grow and learn. Harvard Law...here we come! HA

OMG!
You may remember these cute cards I made for work with my sister's amazing friend Tommie's party circles. I have been using her party circles and items off her blog for a while now for all kinds of things including gift tags, cupcake sticks, labels...I even took some of the cute spring ones and made magnets out of them!
Let me tell you, this girl is C.R.A.F.T.Y. and man can she make a mean chocolate cake ball!
I gained at least 5 lbs during my visit to Texas just because of her!
She has two adorable kiddos, a super cute hubby and my sister is so lucky to have her to lean on in Texas 24/7. I lurve her and wish she lived near me! All that said...look what she is cooking up: Her etsy site has a sale now until Sept 7th for all her Halloween stuff and don't get me started on how cute her sock monkey stuff is!! So...check out her site, follow her on Facebook and just check out what Party Starters did with her printable party collection:
Keep a close eye on the pictures for Grayson's baptism celebration the first weekend in Sept and of course....Cooper's birthday! Lots of Tommie's creations being used :)

Cooper vs a bug
URGHHH of all things Cooper got bit by a mosquito or a yellow jacket on his eyelid! What a day we've had! Good thing it wasn't a school day...Cooper LOVES school, no crying at drop off and even wanted to go to school on Sunday. We are working on getting the swelling down now. Once the initial swelling went down enough for him to see he was back at it jumping, playing and carrying on....nothing holds little boys down!

First day of school!
Cooper had a great first day at school!
There were some kids crying when I went to drop him off so I "dropped and dashed" as you recommended. Cooper's report from the teacher was that he cried on and off for about 1/2 hour but that he stopped. Pretty good I think for a kid that has never really stayed with anyone other then Grammie.
His report is: " I go to school! I cried, other kids cried, I got happy, I played, I got in sand, I go back to school". So..it was a success :) He hugged everyone goodbye so it seems he does love it like I had hoped! Let's see how Wednesday goes! Ha
Laurie.. I have NO IDEA how you do it everyday! That looked like controlled chaos to me this morning in that classroom!!! God Bless those teachers!
